QODBC Version 15.00.00.308 Now available for download.
PLEASE NOTE: for QODBC for QuickBooks and QODBC POS this is a major release.
The optimizer database (local encrypted backup of the entire QuickBooks database) has a brand new engine with better performance and reliability. All issues with forced rebuilding and corruption of the optimizer feature are addressed in this version.
This is a major change which requires the customer to completely rebuild the optimizer database from scratch after installation, so be aware of this when choosing the time to install this version.
The installer will remove the old OPT optimizer file during installation.
QODBC for Online does not have this optimizer change yet.

This brand new product supports QuickBooks Online in exactly the same fashion as our driver for QuickBooks supports Desktop, with no change in coding required.
As you may know, QuickBooks Online now has a completely new system for communicating with your company data, and QODBC has been re-written to handle this new format with no changes to coding required for QODBC users!
This new version of QODBC will be billed on a monthly subscription basis like QuickBooks Online and only one version of the driver will be offered as a Read/Write edition for simplicity.

Intuit is removing support for the QuickBooks SDK from QuickBooks Online edition.
This impacts current QODBC customers who use our product with QuickBooks Online, because when the customer upgrades to the new “QuickBooks Harmony” edition, the SDK which powers external tools such as QODBC will no longer function, and there is no reverting back to the older version if you switch.
If you use QuickBooks Online with QODBC, you may want to delay this transition until you are prepared.
There is no comparable system to the QuickBooks SDK in the “Harmony” edition of QuickBooks Online, so it is unlikely QODBC will be able to talk to the new QuickBooks Online version ever.
If you have any issues with QuickBooks Online related to your use of QODBC and need some advice, please call your local dealer.
