QODBC Online Version 15.00.00.311 Now available for download.
PLEASE NOTE: for QODBC Online this is a major release, the optimizer database (SQLite local encrypted backup of the entire QuickBooks Online database) has a brand new engine with better performance and reliability. All issues with forced rebuilding and corruption of the optimizer feature are addressed in this version.
This is a major change which requires the customer to completely rebuild the optimizer database from scratch after installation, the installer will remove the old OPT file during installation.

PLEASE NOTE: for QODBC POS this is a major release to coincide with the new version QuickBooks POS v12 – please note the last version of POS was 2014 and the resulting discussions resolved to move forward with the version numbers to make them higher than the product version to indicate support for all previous version numbers. We will probably stick with year numbering here forward on POS to keep it in line with the other products.

PLEASE NOTE: for QODBC for QuickBooks and QODBC POS this is a major release.
The optimizer database (local encrypted backup of the entire QuickBooks database) has a brand new engine with better performance and reliability. All issues with forced rebuilding and corruption of the optimizer feature are addressed in this version.
This is a major change which requires the customer to completely rebuild the optimizer database from scratch after installation, so be aware of this when choosing the time to install this version.
The installer will remove the old OPT optimizer file during installation.
QODBC for Online does not have this optimizer change yet.

One of the shortcomings that you hear when people discussQuickBooks Online, and perhaps any of the online accounting products, is the lack of flexible tools for creating custom reports. There are several special purpose tools available that can create excellent reports for the topics that they cover, but what if you want a report that covers information that these tools don’t provide? In this article I’ll take a look at a product that lets you get to a wide range of QuickBooks Online data, QODBC.
If you want to get down and dirty with the QuickBooks Online database and use some Windows desktop reporting tools that you may be familiar with, QODBC provides a driver that can do the job.
